Boho-Inspired Toledo Wedding Photography
So, guys, We did a thing a few weekends ago. An amazing thing. We collaborated with a phenomenal group of wedding professionals and rocked a bridal session with our stunning model, Kelly. Kelly served as our very talented tattooed Toledo bride. A million thanks to Kelly and everyone involved. We couldn’t have done it without you!
Here are some photos from the day and some information on everyone involved!:
First off, the location. We took these wedding photographs at Oak Openings, a metro park in the Toledo area. There is a place many photographers refer to as “The Spot” because it truly is an amazing spot to take photos. We found a spot (not sure if it was “the” spot) and we set up camp on the cold day! Kelly was such a trooper!
We had a vision in mind for creating photos in Ohio that didn’t look like your typical Toledo wedding location. We had an idea for a more boho, out west vibe with some gorgeous greens and a super hot trendy succulent necklace that has been making its rounds all over Pinterest in various forms. Outside of those ideas, we gave our great friends involved in this Toledo stylized bridal session creative freedom to do whatever they were inspired to do!
7 Little Cupcakes conceptualized and decorated this beautiful pale pink wedding cake with cascading purple flowers and succulent accents. It was a vision out in the middle of the woods (and very confusing for people who saw us removing it from a car in the middle of Oak Openings). Special thanks to Erin, the very talented wedding cake baker over at 7 Little Cupcakes, for creating this masterpiece! They have cupcakes as well as wedding caked in Toledo for your dessert needs! We recommend eating them all because every flavor we have tried is phenomenal.
In Bloom Flowers & Gifts created this unique and fun bouquet of greenery, a big trend we are seeing in wedding bouquets right now. The succulent necklace was also created by the wonderful women over at In Bloom and it complimented the session perfectly. We absolutely loved how it turned out and cannot thank them enough for their wonderful work! If you’re in need of a Toledo wedding florist, check them out!
Belle Amour Bridal graciously allowed us to fit our model with a stunning Essence of Austrailia ballgown. It had beautiful beaded details, a unique lace bodice, and was perfectly flowy in every way. It was a blush colored wedding dress and complimented Kelly’s skin tone (and looked beautiful at Oak Openings). Be sure to check out Belle Amour for your wedding dress needs. They’re located right in the heart of downtown Toledo.
Jenelle Ahmad, a Toledo makeup artist, completed the look for our model’s bridal makeup. Kelly had lashes for days, perfectly perfect skin, and the most gorgeous lip color! Makeup is everything on your wedding day, so trust a professional and it will last all day long!
Shana Kirby, a Toledo wedding hair stylist, completed the braided crown look Kelly pulled off so well. We loved this look on Kelly and have worked with Shana in the past. She is a true professional and loves brides looking for a more unique, boho style look for their wedding hair.
We hope you enjoyed these photos from our stylized Toledo bridal session! We loved showing you what we’re capable of to showcase the most unique Toledo wedding photography locations and top Toledo wedding vendors!
