Parkway Place New Year’s Eve Wedding
Andrea and Mark’s Parkway Place New Year’s Eve wedding was one we soon won’t forget! It was a beautiful mix of glamor and timelessness and plus, who isn’t ready to party on New Year’s Eve AND attend a wedding all at the same time?
The couple got ready for the day at The Renaissance Hotel in downtown Toledo and had a beautiful ceremony at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Andrea shared a beautiful moment before the ceremony with her father, who is recently blind. It was a very touching moment to experience the two of them laughing and reminiscing toTheir reception followed at Parkway Place. Their wedding was elegant, romantic, and lots of New Years Eve flair. There was a predominantly gold and white color scheme with some dark pink and dark purple flowers for accents.
In between the ceremony and reception, we jumped in a party bus and headed to Hensville! Andrea’s vision was to get some photos in front of the Hensville lights, do a quick sparkler exit, and throw some confetti. It was such a blast and we had so much fun, even in the freezing cold! I think it was about 10 degrees for the high that day!
When I asked Andrea how they met, she said, “I was friends with Mark’s sister all through high school and finally met him years later. He pursued me very persistently for about 2 years before we finally went on a date! The rest is history”
Their place cards for the wedding were very unique and incorporated gold ornaments to go with the winter theme. They were beautiful and we loved the winter vibe of the wedding with ornaments, faux fur wraps, and lots of bling.
Andrea and Mark’s wedding featured a small pastry table that is traditionally a part of Greek weddings. The pastries were all made by family members. Justin Timberlake even stopped by for some photo fun – Andrea had a lifesize cutout made since her invitation she mailed to him for her wedding day must have gotten lost in the mail! Justin, you missed out on a fun night! Andrea is a huge fan of Britney Spears as well as Justin Timberlake, so her wedding featured nobs to both!
Congratulations to the amazing couple! Cheers to many more decades of love and happiness together!
