Lauren and Eric shared a winter Toledo wedding in December at the Secor Ballroom (Registry Bistro). The couple wanted a 1920s-inspired wedding that still felt fun and relaxed for their guests. La Boutique Nostalgie did an AMAZING job and used lots of winter greens, purple dahlias, mercury glass, and candelabras to give them a timeless yet glam look. The amazing ceiling treatments and lighting for their Registry Bistro winter wedding were done by Mager Designs.
Registry Bistro is a really unique clean slate wedding venue in downtown Toledo. It was nice to see the space transformed in a way that made it still industrial with the metal and concrete as well as the softer, more romantic side that La Boutique Nostalgie and Mager Designs helped create. Downtown Toledo has some really fun, modern places for bride’s to get married! We’re loving the revival of Downtown!
Lauren got ready for the day at her parent’s home. We enjoyed grabbing some photos of her getting ready.
The couple opted to do a first look and family formals at The Toledo Museum of Art! We grabbed some photos at the installation that is Plexus no. 35. The Toledo Museum website says, “Plexus no. 35, a textile installation composed of colorful thread, is on view in the Great Gallery at the Toledo Museum of Art.”
After photos of the couple and some family formals at the museum, we headed to the ceremony location at Registry Bistro. We LOVED how beautiful it looked inside!
The couple shared a short and sweet ceremony together with family and friends.
In between the ceremony and reception, we stayed mainly inside grabbing photos throughout Registry Bistro and the Secor Building. There was some snow and underneath it, ice! We tried to stay inside as much as possible and got some really moody photos.
This is Lauren’s grandmother’s cape! We had to incorporate it and love to capture some fun personal touches in wedding photos.
We snuck outside for one quick photo overlooking Downtown Toledo
After the outdoor session, we hopped inside to get warm and the Ballroom was flipped for the reception and ready to go!
The couple danced, laughed, cried, and cut some beautiful cake! The live band got everyone on their feet and having fun. Congratulations, Lauren and Eric! Your winter Toledo wedding was absolutely breathtaking!
