Delaney and Drew’s love story started a new chapter at Stone Ridge Golf Club on Saturday. As a Toledo wedding photographer, I had the privilege of capturing their heartfelt moments and the special touches that made their day unforgettable.
Their journey began unexpectedly at a neighbor’s gathering, where mutual friends introduced them. Despite Delaney initially playing hard to get, Drew’s persistence eventually won her heart. They now share a love for simple pleasures — napping, playing with their cats, and enjoying board games. Evenings spent bonding over favorite shows like “Impractical Jokers” and discussing ambitious ideas sparked by “Shark Tank.”
Drew orchestrated a memorable proposal at Perrysburg’s Benchmark restaurant, a place they had long planned to visit. After a delightful dinner, they joined friends near a clock tower in Levis Commons for photos. It was there that Drew, amidst the laughter and joy of their company, asked Delaney to marry him.
Their wedding day at Stone Ridge was nothing short of magical. Delaney and Drew exchanged private vows (and so many tears!) that reflected their deep connection and shared dreams. Moments later, the ceremony was made even more special by a dragonfly that lingered throughout the evening—a sign, perhaps, of someone watching over them. The reception was a joyous celebration, with family and friends coming together to witness and bless their union.
