Dock’s Beach House Summer Wedding

Regan and David had the most perfect beach wedding with an INCREDIBLE sunset! I could not believe how lucky these two got with the weather for a beach wedding and I was so happy that they were able to have an outdoor ceremony and reception as well as a casual fire pit hangout party afterward. Their wedding vision was a fun, relaxed, and casual party. Regan described it as, “lakeside with a touch of nautical.” Their colors included dusty blue, navy, and white. I absolutely loved Regan’s first dress, but I also loved it when she changed into her Mom’s wedding dress for the reception that she had altered.

The couple met in high school when they were 17. Regan said, “He was sitting at the desk in front of me in the classroom and I was trying to do my algebra homework. He twisted around in his chair and offered to help. I was grinning ear to ear.”

Regan and her Maid of Honor carpooled for clinical and when they got to Regan and David’s place, Regan noticed there was a small piece of fabric tied to their dog Waylon’s collar. Regan said, “David asked me what that was and I said, “hmm I don’t know” I went to look at it and the ring flipped, so I didn’t see it. I turn around to see David with an empty ring box. I said, “is this a joke?” And he laughed and said, “no, will you marry me?” He showed me the ring on Waylon’s collar and put it on my hand. I said yes!
