Do you know what it takes to be a bridesmaid? You might think that all you have to do is show up on the big day, but there are actually quite a few duties that come with being in this position. As one of the most important members of the wedding party, it’s your responsibility to make sure everything goes smoothly and everyone has an amazing time.

Bridesmaids, or anyone included in the wedding party, are not just there to stand next to the couple at the altar or look pretty in photos. They support a couple during this joyous time by helping with any tasks that need to be done. These duties may include organizing a shower, picking up flowers or a cake, planning a bachelorette party, and much more!
Assistance
Before the wedding, bridesmaids are expected to participate in choosing a gown, helping a Bride choose a gown, and any tasks or hurdles that might come up that they are capable of helping with! When you say yes to being a bridesmaid, you’re promising to that couple that you will help them and be respectful of their day.
