Ember and Ben had the best (and definitely the windiest haha) day ever on Saturday! The couple met while working together on the same team of a large shopping chain. Ember said, “Ben and I were fast friends as we were considered the quiet ones on the team. It took a few months before we acknowledged that we liked each other but once we started dating we clicked almost instantly. Ben has been one of my best friends and was even the first person to find out that I was accepted into nursing school. We have been together through it all.”

When I asked her about the proposal story, she said, “We got engaged in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It was a trip we had planned for my senior year’s spring break. We were sitting down by the beach and Ben was playing music on his phone, the song that was playing is the song that was our first dance. I was standing by the water and when I turned around Ben had written “Marry Me?” in the sand and was down on one knee.”

I loved being a part of this fun and cheerful day! Emi planned several first looks and it was so much fun tucking her into a small room, getting her family member into place, and then having her greet them with the biggest hug. I was tearing up as everyone told her such wonderful and precious things on her wedding day. I loved seeing Ben get a little emotional too. I will say, my absolute favorite part of the day was portraits right in front of the church where we see all of the beautiful fall colors on display – everyone was freezing and the wind made it so hard to talk to everyone but it made for such a hilarious and fun moment!

Congrats, Emi and Ben! Your intimate fall wedding was absolutely amazing and I wish you both the very best!
