Gabriel Ballroom Wedding in Grand Rapids, Ohio
Lisa and Kris shared a gorgeous wedding in Grand Rapids, Ohio this June! Their Gabriel Ballroom wedding was absolutely stunning with a backdrop including greenery, navy and rose gold details and a beautiful and elegant feel! The couple had their complete wedding at the venue – their ceremony was inside and their reception was right across the way in a ballroom.
Lisa and Kris have such chemistry together and shared so many laughs together throughout the day! They made each other laugh and had so much fun together during portraits. I loved how willing they were to try any ideas we suggested for photos!
The couple has one son together and Lisa has two children from a previous relationship. All three children were incorporated into the day and it was nice to see the two families become one family together. The boys walked down the aisle when the ceremony started with an adorable banner and they were so fun on the dance floor during the reception.
After the major reception events, the couple opted to run outside for a few quick sunset photos – one of my favorite ways to grab some additional portraits when we have a tighter wedding timeline. Plus, sunset photos just give you that perfect light that pairs so well with the romance of a wedding day!
Lisa put so much thought into the wedding details. She had a beautiful vision for the wedding day and DIY’d quite a bit. It all turned out absolutely stunning.Congrats, you two lovebirds!
