Not only was May 5th Cinco de Mayo, but it was also Sam and Luke’s big day! I had an absolute blast for their Holy Toledo Hensville Wedding Photos. The couple shared so many beautiful moments and we even got some rooftop sunset photos!
The couple met while in chiropractic school in Florida back in 2011. Luke thought Sam was too good for him! They started hanging out and studying and then started dating in 2013. Sam and Luke graduated in 2014 and 6 months later, Luke moved to Ohio to start a life with Sam. He proposed in March of 2017 in Florida, back where it all began!
The wedding had touches of marsala, blush, and ivory with a vintage vibe. We started out at Wildflower Salon and traveled to the Wolcott House for the first look between Sam and Luke. From there, we went to their church, Maumee United Methodist Church to get ready for the ceremony. After the couple said yes and danced down the aisle (I LOVED IT), we traveled to the Toledo loves Love mural and Middlegrounds Park. Before Hensville, the couple had a grand exit from the church involving baby’s breath! It photographed so well! The bride and groom’s reception was in the newly named Holy Toledo rooftop and rustic indoor space, which was perfect for their rustic affair!
