Intimate Blarney Wedding
It was so much fun spending the day with Jackie and AJ for their intimate Blarney wedding in December. Their ceremony took place at the Collingwood Arts Center with their closest family and friends and there was a reception following at the Blarney Event Center in Downtown Toledo. The couple is hopping through islands in Greece for their honeymoon – how amazing is that?!
The couple had a winter forest theme with lots of lights and a romantic, cozy vibe. There were lots of plaids and mismatched ties with animals embroidered on them. It all came together perfectly for a winter wedding. Their colors were hunter green, gray tones, and reds. Jackie even wore a Harry Potter bracelet, which I loved, of course.
The couple did a first look before their ceremony and the cutest thing happened! They each wrote notes to each other and wrote almost the same note (checkbox style with a will you marry me vibe). It was hilarious and really shows how perfect for each other they are.
Their love story all started in the summer of 2011 down in Vicksburg, Mississippi. The pair served in the national service program AmeriCorps NCCC. They spent 2011 and 2012 traveling the United States serving in New Orleans, North Carolina, New York, Alabama and Mississippi. Their friendship developed into something more and in September 2012, they officially started dating.
This couple knew how to party! Along with their family, friends, and AmeriCorps buddies, the dance floor was crazy all night! It was easily one of the most fun, wild dance floors I have seen all year!
Congratulations, you two! You both are so amazing and I had such a blast photographing your special day!
