Megan and John met in college at the University of Toledo when they were going to school there. They were both in fraternities/sororities and met at a function together. John proposed up north in Michigan, while on a trip to his family cottage, surprising Megan! The family goes skiing there and the two started climbing a mountain, trying to get to the top and ski before it closed. Little did Megan know, John chose that exact mountain to propose on!
Their Nazareth Hall wedding on 7-11-15 was absolutely beautiful! Megan and John used grays and yellows (with Navy accents to go with their subtle Michigan theme) to create a beautiful color palette in Lady Glen.
Megan’s dress was absolutely STUNNING. It has a beautiful beaded design, cross back, and was a show-stopper!
Their ceremony took place at the Grotto, one of our favorite locations! It looks straight out of a fairy tale!
After they said “I do”, we photographed the family formals and some fo Megan & John together around the grounds of Nazareth.
Their cocktail hour featured old windows, rustic details, and an adorable thumbprint guestbook.
Inside Lady Glen, Megan & John featured more rustic details, adorable metal initials, and cute burlap accents!
Oh…and Michigan colors! Go Blue 🙂
Look at these adorable wedding favors!

John and his Mother’s dance started out very traditional, and then a little into the song…
They broke out and started having some REAL fun!
After the dances, the partying and dancing started. Decorative Sound kept the party going all night.
Congratulations, Megan & John! We wish you the very best!
