Colleen and Trey shared a perfect Parkway Place wedding with their family and friends in mid-June. Their traditional church ceremony was followed by family photos, portraits, and an absolutely stunning reception at Parkway.
The couple opted to not see each other before the wedding and Colleen surprised Trey with a boutonnière that included a photo of his late father. There was also a tribute to treys dad at the reception.
It was a hot day. Like crazy hot! But the couple pushed through portraits and it was so fun getting some beautiful photos over at side cut park. We opted for the shade because, heat, and then we braved the sun for a few photos near the channel area. Gotta love that waterfall!
Tiffany blue was the main color used in the wedding and the elegant centerpieces, Tiffany blue uplighting, and stunning space made for a gorgeous and classic wedding reception. The couple spent the rest of the night dancing with their family and friends.
When I asked Colleen how Trey proposed, she said, “Trey surprised me with a scavenger hunt to find him. The first clue said “here’s your scavenger hunt! 🙂 let’s see how good your memory is! 🙂 your next clue is where we had our first kiss!” The next clue said “your next clue is in something we use on Sunday mornings and I hope to use every Sunday for the rest of our lives” and the last clue said “your next one is in the place I first told you I loved you! You better hurry to find me before the pups do!” So cute!
Colleen and Trey, you are both such wonderful people and I absolutely loved being a part of your day. You have the greatest chemistry together and I wish you both the very best. Your Alaskan honeymoon looked amazing!
