Recently I photographed Allison and Patrick for their Perrysburg engagement session. These engagement photos were very unique because Allison requested we go to the new Perrysburg fire station on Hull Prairie to capture some photos of Patrick (a firefighter) in his uniform and some cute ones with her wearing his uniform too. We had such a great time photographing in the new station and in between the fire trucks. It was so fun!
Before we were inside the fire station, we started the session out near Orleans Park in Perrysburg. I went a week or two prior at sunrise to see what the light was looking like at a location that I underutilize and I was SO happy that I did. I photographed Allison and Patrick’s session early in the morning right around sunrise is and we found the perfect field and the sky looked amazing. Patrick was such a champ, just getting off a 24-hour shift and going straight into this session for us to squeeze it in!
A fire station is one of the more unique places I have photographed at and I think it is such a great idea when a couple decides on a spot that is unique and personal to them. Whether that’s their first date location, private property owned by a family member, or including their passions or profession, it makes for some unique and amazing engagement photos!
