Regnisha and John had an amazingly elegant wedding at the Stranahan Toledo. The ballroom looked so romantic and elegant feel with the beautiful chandeliers and candlelight as well as a wine, ivory, blush and gold color scheme.

Our morning started out at The Renaissance Toledo located right in the heart of downtown where the ladies got ready. John and the guys got ready at the couples’ home before heading to the church. The couple was surrounded by family and friends all morning, which made the wedding extra special.

When I asked Regnisha how they met, she said, “We met through mutual friends of ours so we were always around each other. He would always flirt with me but I never put much thought into it. Then one day he asked me out on a date and I said why not but only as friends. Little did I know that that date would be the beginning of the rest of my life. We have 3 handsome sons together and are finally tying the knot!” It was such a beautiful wedding day!

Regnisha said, “Johnathan proposed to me in front of all of our family and friends. We have 3 sons so he had the boys make t-shirts that said will you marry my daddy. He then got on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was super cute!” That sounds so adorable and I love it when the family is incorporated into a proposal!

After the beautiful ceremony, the couple gathered for family photographs and then we traveled to the marble steps at the Toledo Museum of Art for some portraits (these guys were such troopers in the cold weather!). Then, it was time for the breathtaking reception filled with tons of friends and family to greet them! It was such a fun party!
