Amanda and Donovan’s wedding day was the perfect mix of rustic elegance and incredible timing.
The day began at the beautiful Toledo Botanical Garden, where Amanda and Donovan shared their vows under the charming pondside gazebo. It was a warm summer day, but the skies held off just long enough for their outdoor ceremony to go off without a hitch. The rain didn’t arrive until later, right as the reception began, making for the most serendipitous timing.
Amanda and Donovan met online and quickly built a connection that grew into something lasting and strong. Their wedding reflected their grounded, joyful love with a rustic theme, featuring wood accents and lush florals in rich jewel tones that made everything feel warm and vibrant. The bridesmaids wore emerald green, while the groomsmen were dressed in navy suits —a timeless combination that looked incredible against the summer blooms and lush greenery backdrop of the Toledo Botanical.
One of my favorite parts of the day was recreating a special photo from their Wildwood engagement session – a goofy statue-inspired photo where the statue was photobombing their posed photo. It felt full-circle to revisit that moment again, as husband and wife.
After the ceremony, the party moved downtown to The Summit, where the energy ramped up just as the rain started to fall. Inside, the celebration was cozy, joyful, and filled with laughter—exactly how Amanda and Donovan wanted to kick off their marriage.
It was an honor to be part of this day and document such a meaningful beginning. Congrats, Amanda & Donovan!
