The Best Wedding Venues in Ohio
As an Ohio wedding photographer based in Toledo, I get to travel the state and visit some of the most beautiful and unique venues in the area. I thought it was about time I shared some of my absolute favorites with you!
Here are my absolute favorites:
Stillwaters Retreat
McComb, Ohio
Close to 1-75 and near Findlay, Ohio, Stillwaters Retreat is a tree farm turned wedding venue space. Perfect for couples that love the outdoors, there are glamping tents available for overnight guests and the venue space is home to two swans that have imprinted on the pond when you first drive-in. It’s quaint and has the most beautiful views.

Birchwood Meadow
Swanton, Ohio
What sets this venue apart is its unique ‘Big Timber’ barn, a stunning architectural marvel with a soaring 40-foot vaulted ceiling in the main hall. The hall’s elegance is enhanced by the presence of Arched Big Timber trusses, which span the entirety of the space, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for your celebration.

Nazareth Hall
Grand Rapids, Ohio
Nazareth Hall is a historic venue that originated as an all-boys Catholic school back in the 1920s. There are ample indoor and outdoor spaces for wherever your heart takes you – a non-denominational chapel and outdoor Grotto complete with intricate rock sculpture. There are also three reception spaces including Gabriel Ballroom, Cadet West (which features an ornate curved window with stained glass), and Ladyglen (which has a beautiful balcony and has a patio out back for cocktail hour). You won’t want to miss this family-owned gem when you’re looking at Ohio wedding venues. I have photographed here at least 50 times and every time, there’s a new space we find where we are just in awe of the beauty.

The Grand Barn at the Mohicans

Looking for a woodland paradise? The Grand Barn is located on 75 acres of wooded land and a two-story timber-frame building for your reception. There are nine treehouses on the property to embrace the glamping and outdoor vibe at this beautiful venue.

An absolutely beautiful wedding venue with historic Greek Revival architecture and elegant views. The stunning architecture speaks for itself and has places to get ready, ceremony spots, and is a Central, Ohio staple.
