Hannah and Kevin first crossed paths on Bumble in 2017 while living in Columbus, Ohio. They dated for a few months before going their separate ways, but fate brought them back together in March 2020. For their first date that year, Kevin surprised Hannah with takeout from a chic Italian restaurant and a bottle of red wine, and they enjoyed a cozy night in at her apartment. The time they spent together during the pandemic helped deepen their connection, setting the stage for a future that would include a beautiful spring wedding in Sylvania, Ohio.
The couple loves exploring Chicago, trying out new restaurants, and then returning home to snuggle with their beloved pets—Cady, their cat, and Archie, their beagle. In 2021, Kevin took Hannah to Chicago for her birthday weekend, and that trip marked the moment they decided they wanted to make the city their home. Exactly one year later, Kevin proposed in their first apartment together in Chicago, creating a romantic setting with candles and rose petals scattered everywhere. The surprise continued when he took her to dinner, where they were joined by their families who had traveled in from Ohio to celebrate.
Hannah and Kevin’s spring wedding in Sylvania was the epitome of romance and elegance. The color scheme featured dusty rose with lush sage greenery, soft ivory and cream tones, and touches of gold.
