Sterling State Park

I had such a wonderful time with Emily and Mark for their Sterling State Park engagement photos. Sterling State Park is a beach located outside of Detroit, Michigan. We started out their session walking on the pier and finding some great spots.

The couple chose THE PERFECT outfits and I loved learning more about them, their wedding plans thus far, and just seeing them be so adorable together in person.

After photographing these two cuties at the pier, we walked back to the beach for some more photos on the sand. I absolutely fell in love with this beach and was thrilled when Emily said she wanted to take some photos barefoot in the water. This girl rocked heels while we walked back from the pier and was a total champ when it started raining during their session.

Their summer wedding at Maumee Bay is going to be amazing and I look forward to more waterfront photos and more time with these two great people.
