Sunrise engagement sessions are the way to go, I’m telling you guys! Biggest secret to getting a weekend during the busy months of summer and fall but also because it’s done, your day can go on, and you get this GORGEOUS light. I had a lovely sunrise engagement session at Sidecut Metropark with Beth and Chris. There was a full moon the night before, so I had them quickly hop up on a pillar so that we could grab a shot with the moon in the background before it disappeared.
We started by the moon and then made our way off of the beaten path of Sidecut Park. We drove a ways down the road to a pathway that leads down to the rocks (one of my favorite childhood spots to visit, I actually painted a portrait of my husband and I sitting down there back in high school) and the water was nice and low so we could walk really far out there. The yellow flowers were in full bloom and the pastel-colored sunrise was just perfect. These two were adorable together and were all smiles as I did pose after pose. Their wedding is going to be a blast this Fourth of July at the Toledo Zoo!
