Eight years ago, Amanda and Tyler met in Kentucky through a dating app. At the time, Amanda was in PT school while Tyler was working full-time as a caregiver for adults with intellectual disabilities. What started online grew into a relationship that has kept them happily inseparable ever since.
When Tyler decided it was time to propose, he took Amanda all the way to Washington. During a trip to Seattle, he proposed at a cozy cabin near Mount Baker. Surrounded by the mountains and the quiet beauty of the area, it was a surreal and intimate moment for the two of them. They spent the rest of the trip exploring Seattle as an engaged couple, making memories in a place that would always be connected to the beginning of their next chapter.
Their wedding day at The Stables in Whitehouse, Ohio, was every bit as beautiful as their story. The sun was shining, the weather was perfect, and the property’s rustic landscaping provided the perfect setting for their celebration.
Amanda and Tyler chose to have a first look together before the ceremony, followed by an equally important first look with their dogs. With their pups included in such a meaningful part of the day, those early moments were full of personality and plenty of love.
Hydrangeas were everywhere throughout the celebration, bringing a soft, romantic touch to the rustic barn setting. Their abundant blooms complemented the natural landscaping and warm wood of The Stables while keeping the overall look classic and timeless.
From their first connection on a dating app in Kentucky to a mountain getaway in Washington and finally a sunny wedding day surrounded by the people, places, and dogs they love most, Amanda and Tyler’s celebration was a beautiful reflection of the life they’ve built together.
