Timeless Stone Ridge All Black Wedding

I had the absolute honor of capturing Hannah and Carlos’ wedding day at Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green, Ohio—and let me tell you, it was one for the books.

Despite the summer heat, this day was nothing short of classy, intentional, and incredibly meaningful. Guests were invited to wear all black, creating a striking and elevated atmosphere that perfectly matched the couple’s vision. Carlos stood out in a crisp white suit, while Hannah was radiant in every way, both stylish and glowing with joy in her white gown.

Their love story started over a decade ago on a recreational volleyball court. A mutual friend brought them together, and eventually, Carlos “poached” Hannah to join a team of their own. Fast forward to late 2022, when their connection deepened and they realized they were meant to do life together. “I can’t imagine a future without Hannah as my wife and best friend”, Carlos shared.

One of the most touching parts of their story is the proposal, which took place in front of Hannah’s parents and her beloved Grandma Sarah, a moment that was deeply important to them. Carlos proposed in Grandma Sarah’s living room in Paulding, OH, making sure the people Hannah loved most were present. Sadly, Grandma Sarah passed away this past New Year’s Eve, but her memory was beautifully honored throughout the day. Hannah carried charms on her bouquet to honor loved ones who couldn’t be there.

Their ceremony was bilingual, in both English and Spanish—a beautiful nod to Carlos’ Nicaraguan heritage and the merging of two families and cultures. It added such warmth and inclusivity to the celebration.

From the meaningful vows to the electric dance floor energy later that evening, Hannah and Carlos created a wedding day that felt sophisticated, modern, and deeply personal. I’m so thankful I got to document this chapter of their love story. These two are truly the definition of soulmates, and it was a joy to witness.
