Toledo Metropark Engagement Session in the Fall

Kassie and Andrew’s session was a fall lover’s dream! We had the perfect colors throughout our session together and these two were just so adorable together – it made for the perfect combo of events! I just loved spending the afternoon with these guys capturing their love and having fun together.

After debating a location for photos (we knew we wanted those colors to shine_, we settled with Wildwood and I was thrilled that the colors looked so beautiful when we went. There’s always a delicate balance in October where we don’t know when the colors will be peak and when there will be a big storm and all the leaves will fall off, so I think we nailed it! We started at Wildwood over by the Manor House and moved around that general area finding the perfect trails and fields for the best colors. What I love so much about Wildwood is there can be dozens of photographers (the norm in the fall) and it’s unlikely we are in each other’s spaces due to the amount of beautiful land in this Metropark.

These two wanted a destination wedding last year in California, but with the wildfires and COVID on top of that, they are waiting to determine a date and location to say their vows and get married. I can’t wait to hear what location they decide on – Kassie and Andrew, I wish you both the very best of luck!
