Oregon Ohio Waterfront Wedding by the Beach
Saturday was a gorgeous day at Maumee Bay! We had a great breeze during the ceremony and a gorgeous sunset to end the night. Emily and Mark had such a perfect celebration that was such a joy to be a part of!
Emily and Mark met through running, a passion they both share. Mark actually even proposed to Emily during a run! The two do marathons together and just love being outdoors and running and hiking together. They have been together for 9 years!
The ceremony took place at the Toledo area beach wedding venue and the couple wanted to include their dog Miles in the ceremony as well as some family photos. So what more can you ask of a fun dog-loving couple than their aisle being adorned with flower petals and dog bones before Emily walked down the aisle? It was so cute to see the flower girls walk down and place the petals before the boys walked down with a matching basket filled with dog bones.
The bridesmaids wore white as well as Emily, which paired so perfectly with the pops of color from their Gardenview Flowers bouquets with lots of lovely shades of pink. The couple wrote their own vows and had me crying because they were just so heartfelt and beautiful. I loved the promises they made to each other and the laughs in between the tears.
We ended the night with dancing and some sunset photos after a tented reception at Maumee Bay. It was such a joy!
