There’s nothing like the modern space of City View, which is why it is getting its own category. If you’re looking for a modern, neutral space where you get married overlooking all the views the city of Toledo has to offer while still accommodating 250 of your guests, stop scrolling and reach out to this popular new venue ASAP! They even have two getting-ready rooms upstairs for you and your crew before the party begins.

Industrial Toledo Wedding Venues

Secor Ballroom at Registry Bistro

Located in such a fun part of Downtown Toledo close to Hensville, this venue is perfect for ceremonies and receptions. This venue has an industrial loft look in the best way possible with exposed beams and concrete floors. Holds up to 250 of your guests.

What do I love? Registry Bistro is just a clean slate, is the only place around I know of that does on-site family-style meals, and their art gallery where your guests enjoy cocktail hour, and eclectic style make it offbeat and unique for a wedding venue. However, parking is tricky and is either street parking or a paid parking lot close by.

The Venues

One of the newer venue spaces in downtown Toledo, The Venues is industrial-looking and located right off of 75 with several stunning rooms. The Venues is a gem in the area you NEED to see. Seats up to 275 people, plenty of free parking, and indoor space for a ceremony or cocktail hour. Brick walls and a stunning handmade wood backdrop.

Bring your own caterer and experience this hidden gem!

The Blarney Event Center

Part of the booming Warehouse District in Toledo, The Blarney is an amazing wedding venue with its own event space, The Blarney Event Center. Your guests will love the delicious food and atmosphere as you celebrate. Sneak away for a sunset rooftop shot or sparkler exit!

Hensville

Part of the booming Warehouse District in Toledo, Hensville is a very unique place to get married that will have your guests talking about it for years to come! From the exposed brick to the industrial look, there are 2 buildings with rooftops available and each ballroom (named Holy Toledo and The Armory) have unique looks. The largest space at Hensville, the Armory, holds up to 250 guests.

Catering is on-site and there is plenty of parking for these venues on street and there is also usually an entire parking lot reserved for your guests that is close by.

What do I love? Let’s talk about this rooftop view with the Mudhens Stadium in the background, which you can use for your ceremonies as well as cocktail hour. It’s AMAZING! You don’t even need to be a baseball fan to appreciate this space. The inside is also perfectly industrial and easy to transform. Plus, you’re close to like, a million bars to stop in to for a drink during your photos.

The Summit

A hidden gem in Downtown Toledo. The perfect industrial space for up to 300 seated guests. The Summit provides an in-house bar and catering as well as free parking. An awesome perk of The Summit is they provide linens as well as tables & chairs. A unique feature of this venue is the garage doors that can open up to waterfront views across the street. There is an AMAZING rooftop sunset spot for you and your photographer!

Historic Toledo Wedding Venues

Nazareth Hall

Nazareth Hall has so many unique locations to get married at! From an indoor ceremony at the chapel, outdoor ceremony in the Grotto (it’s something out of a fairytale!), or one of their many rooms to plan the big day, Nazareth Hall has it all! For your ceremony, the Grotto seats 300 guests and the Chapel seats 220. For receptions, Ladyglen seats the most with up to 300 guests while Cadet West comes in second with up to 200 guests. Finally, Gabriel Ballroom seats up to 150.

What do I love here? This venue is family owned and it shows. You’ll be so well taken care of. The stained glass, large windows, and affordability make this a venue that is hard to beat! There are several jaw-dropping options for indoor and outdoor ceremonies and the ballrooms are all unique and beautiful. Perfect for a couple that dreams of a historical venue to get married at. Plus, there are a few parking lots, making it easy for your guests to find a spot. I am here 5-7 times a year and could easily photograph here every weekend and still find new places!

The most unique part about Nazareth Hall is that you’ll have a complimentary hostess 2 hours before your ceremony and even cut your cake for you. The food here is also excellent. Nazareth is always one of my favorite places to go and is just a short drive from Toledo!

Toledo Club

From the elegant rehearsal dinner to a regal and elegant wedding reception, the Toledo Club is unique and full of historic charm. Gorgeous chandeliers, old paintings, and ornate woodwork greet you in this beautiful space. Holds up to 250 guests.

What do I love? This space is truly one of a kind. Historic, multiple floors, and perfect for a more classic/traditional couple. Think Royal Wedding vibes. It’s stunning inside. There is no location for an outdoor ceremony at The Toledo Club, but it is very close to Collingwood Arts Center, a hidden gem. Toledo Club provides on-site catering and there is a very large and free private parking lot for guests.

The Armory

Beautiful historic venue in Napoleon, Ohio. Seats up to 300 guests. BYOB – bartenders are available for hire but you need to provide your own alcohol. BYO-catering as well to choose the perfect fit for your day. The Armory has a unique getting-ready suite – ‘The Commander Suite’ – which is a retro 50’s inspired spot.  The Armory itself is rustic and has exposed brick, vaulted ceilings, and a large open floor plan. There is free street parking available. If I were to recommend one thing, don’t choose the dance floor option by the DJ, have your dance floor in the middle surrounded by the chandeliers instead for prettier photos.

Gideon Owen Winery

Gideon Owen Winery is a Port Clinton wedding venue, originally called Mon Ami Winery. Their underground cave/wine cellar is an amazingly unique spot for a wedding ceremony and their views are unique and breathtaking.

Twin Oast Brewery

Twin Oast Brewery is located in Port Clinton, Ohio and upon entering the grounds for the first time, it absolutely took my breath away. The medieval/stone venue has jaw-dropping views, so much is landscaped and so much consideration is taken into the views. It’s not only a wedding venue, but an experience. The grounds include a waterfall, orchard, woods, and a beautiful willow tree perfect for a ceremony. Seating anywhere from 16-200 guests, depending on which space you choose.

Country Club Toledo Wedding Venues

Toledo Country Club

Ever wanted to dance outside under the string lights while your guests watch from above? Have an outdoor ceremony overlooking the Maumee River? Toledo Country Club is a hidden gem with its all-white reception space and outdoor dance floor. Featuring multiple getting-ready spaces for your wedding party.

Inverness

Inverness Club is conveniently located in Toledo off of Dorr Street. Simple and traditional in decor, Inverness is an extremely elegant wedding venue. Think fireplaces and 1920’s vibes with vaulted ceilings and beautiful woodwork. Seats up to 300 guests with plenty of free parking. There is an indoor space for a ceremony and an outdoor space for a ceremony or cocktail hour. The indoor space is gorgeous and features a room for dinner and desserts as well as a large room perfect for a live band and first dances! 

Inverness provides the meal and drinks for this venue but you can provide your own desserts.

Rustic Toledo Wedding Venues

The Stables

For your elegant, yet rustic barn Toledo wedding, you cannot go wrong with choosing The Stables. They have thought of everything from the beautiful ceremony site, string lights hung at the perfect location for your dancing photos, and those jaw-dropping barn doors. It’s the perfect place to say “I do” for your rustic Toledo wedding! Accommodates up to 300 guests.

I love this venue at night and a night photo in front of the string lights and barn in a must-have. There are multiple options for an outdoor ceremony and rain plans just in case. The inside of the barn is beautiful and there’s plenty of parking outside of the barn for your guests.

There is now a second smaller space, the Wine Room, which photographs well and has a beautiful getting-ready space and outdoor ceremony space.

This venue has heat and air conditioning, making it perfect year-round. You can also provide your own catering, allowing you to choose the perfect meal option for you and your guests.

Heban’s Field of Dreams

If you’re dreaming of a rustic farm-to-table experience and a one-stop-shop for your getting-ready moments, ceremony, and reception, Heban’s is the place to be. You’ll love the beautiful spaces here, indoors and out. The hill for sunset photos is a breathtaking space and totally worth the hike.

This family-owned new wedding venue is based in Grand Rapids, Ohio. They’re working on new developments and buildings, so stay tuned for more!

The Barn at Walnut Creek

The Barn at Walnut Creek is a Findlay, Ohio wedding venue with a rustic and barn vibe. This white barn has a beautifully landscaped outdoor area, indoor restrooms, a suite for bridesmaids to get ready, and Edison bulb string light accents strung between the three grand wooden beams.

Shady Brook Acres

Shady Brook Acres Hitching Post is a Napoleon, Ohio rustic barn wedding space. Family-owned for over 45 years, this venue space has a serene waterfall and makes for a perfect wedding location. They have a bridal suite and you’ll have full use of the grounds. SBA Hitching Post is a beautiful Toledo area wedding venue.

Crimson Lane

Crimson Lane is a modern barn space located on 9 acres in Ada, Ohio. This stunning venue allows one wedding per day, allowing you to be the exclusive event of the day. Enjoy an all-day spot with bridal and groom’s suites. Tables and chairs for the ceremony and reception are also provided within this space.

Ballroom Wedding Venues in Toledo

Renaissance Toledo

Located right in the heart of Downtown Toledo, which is fitting, since the building itself features an elegant boutique-style Toledo-themed interior. Renaissance offers numerous event spaces to host everything from an intimate wedding celebration to a grand affair. It can hold a crazy amount of guests, so no worries about space.

What do I love? The hotel located inside this venue is a huge bonus, there is a beautiful space outside for an outdoor ceremony by the water. Parking is a little tricky, as there is only a paid parking garage, street parking, or valet. but everything is close by across the street. Renaissance provides bartending and catering for your event, but you can bring in outside desserts.

Stone Ridge

Stone Ridge is a tucked-away golf course in Bowling Green, Ohio, and isn’t your typical country club. Their website says, “Tucked away in 150 acres of rolling hills, the Stone Ridge Golf Club is a distinguished country club wedding venue in Bowling Green, Ohio. Our club’s all-inclusive wedding packages streamline the event planning process, and we include a delectable catering service. We host golf club weddings on our majestically landscaped golf courses that feature lush, elegant greens and evoke serenity.” Holds up to 250 guests.

What do I love? The ceremony is right outside and easily convenient for guests. I love the sunset views here! We can just pop out for a few minutes and it isn’t a long walk to sneak away for a few photos, the inside of this venue can be transformed easily with uplighting and draping and lights. It’s gorgeous!

Toledo Zoo

Another unique venue for both a ceremony and reception in Toledo, the zoo is a fun and beautiful location for a wedding. Offering several different locations, they can accommodate an intimate affair or a large celebration. Malawi Event Center holds up to 700 guests while the Great Hall holds up to 180. The Aquarium can hold up to 80 of your closest friends and family.

Several parking lots surround the zoo and there are golf carts for your guests to take, if needed. Catering is on-site and delicious.

With this venue, I love it all. There are several unique spots to do your ceremonies and receptions. The outdoor ceremony location, the Toledo Zoo Gardens, is a hidden gem more couples need to take advantage of. Plus, where else can you take photos with sloths and giraffes on your wedding day?

Fun fact: I worked at the zoo for 6 years before I became a wedding photographer, so I know all the spots and consider this place a second home!

The Stranahan

Classic venue for up to 250 guests, The Stranahan is conveniently located in Toledo, Ohio. There are spots for an indoor ceremony and indoor reception. They provide an in-house bar and have beautiful tall windows and large chandeliers.

Hilton Garden Inn

An elegant ballroom with getting-ready spaces and outdoor ceremony space overlooking a fountain and clock tower. Hilton Garden Inn Perrysburg has the perfect mix of outdoor beauty and indoor ballroom with hotel accommodations attached. Keep the party going after the wedding by walking to Bar Louie. Conveniently located right off I-475/I-75.

Parkway Place

An elegant ballroom with getting-ready spaces located right off of Route 25. Open spaces and neutral colors make this a great choice for larger weddings in the area. Parkway is a beautiful classic venue space in Toledo you’ll definitely want to check out. While I love the space, it is located in a shopping plaza, so I highly recommend a first look and getting all photos done before the ceremony!

Outdoors/Beach Wedding Venues in Toledo

Maumee Bay

A waterfront Toledo wedding at its finest! Maumee Bay includes several options from the indoors to the outdoors. Ballroom reception or tent reception. Perfect for any of your wedding needs by the water! Holds 130 guests for a tented reception or 350 for the Grand Ballroom.

What do I love about this venue? Oh my gosh, the views are just so great. There is a hotel connected to this venue, so it feels like a destination wedding right here in Northwest Ohio. It’s also dog-friendly for your wedding ceremony, which is perfect for so many of my couples!

Catawba Island Club

Beautiful waterfront wedding venue located in Port Clinton, Ohio. Seating for up to 240 guests with an outdoor ceremony area overlooking the water. What could be more perfect? They have a tented indoor/outdoor reception, in-house catering, a hotel connected to venue, ample parking, and marina access, if that is something you need. They only accommodate one couple per day, so the beautiful grounds are all yours!

Stillwaters Retreat

Along with the jaw-dropping views, this tree farm-turned wedding venue in McComb is big on sustainability. The ceremony benches are made from trees cut down on the farm and there is lots of thought and care put into the neutral bridal suite with hooks to hang your wedding dress. There are even spaces for food trucks. The reception space is rustic but has more modern and industrial lighting, which allows you to customize it however you’d like.

Dock’s Beach House

Dock’s Beach House is an all outdoors wedding venue located in Port Clinton, Ohio. Their covered open-air reception space and outdoor dance floor with string lights are so beautiful and intimate. You get your own slice of the beach! Dock’s is connected to a motel and holds up to 250 guests.  Parking is available across the street and catering is provided by Dock’s Beach House, which is a restaurant located right next to the venue space.

Love the idea of a garden wedding? Check out Toledo Botanical Garden! There are multiple places to get married and have your ceremony and reception, from indoor to outdoor. I have had three wedding ceremonies here: one at the Arches, one in the Perennial Garden, and one in front of the Gazebo. All are beautiful spots!
