Despite the rain and Danielle and Brett’s plans for an outdoor ceremony, Sunday was such a perfect day for a wedding! Not only did we have the extended weekend with Labor Day, but we had the ceremony and reception at the lovely Stables barn in Whitehouse, Ohio. The weather cleared up just in time for family portraits, wedding party photos, and couples photos outside as well!
The wedding day theme was simply rustic. The couple wanted a relaxed and fun atmosphere. They had cornhole boards and tables for beer pong and their colors were burgundy and charcoal.
The lovebirds met at a college football party. Danielle showed up and Brett was intoxicated and said: “Hi I’m Brett Carder and I have amazing eyes”. Danielle said the two didn’t talk for the rest of the night but that about two months later Brett added her on Facebook. That was eight years ago and the two have been together ever since!
For the proposal, Danielle said,” Brett took me and his friend Dylan to Hocking Hills to “see if Dylan would like it” . We got to one of my favorite waterfalls and Brett asked Dylan to take a picture of us in front of the waterfall. As I was waiting for the picture to be taken Brett got down on one knee and proposed! It was such a surprise and made for great pictures.”
Congratulations, Danielle and Brett! I am so happy for you both and I wish you the very best!
