Who Attends a Bridal Shower

What is a bridal shower?

A bridal shower is a party that typically includes the couple’s family and friends to celebrate the upcoming marriage.

Who attends a bridal shower?

Bridal showers are often hosted by others who are close with the couple or their families, including the bridesmaids, cousins, sisters, aunts, godmothers, and/or the mothers of the bride and groom. The guests usually bring gifts for both the couple and some include games such as bingo or scavenger hunts. It is customary for those close to the couple or the couple themselves to sometimes give speeches thanking everyone for coming.

The bridal shower is a time to celebrate with the newlyweds-to-be and their friends, family, and coworkers. It’s also an opportunity for people in attendance to show their love, support, and generosity by presenting gifts that will be useful throughout the couple’s married life together. I hope this blog post has helped you learn more about what goes on at a traditional bridal shower – I can’t wait to see photos from yours!
