What happens when your venue decides to not allow you to have a ceremony on their grounds 20 days before the big day due to new ownership? You adapt – just like Morghan and David!
Their last-minute ceremony change caused them to scramble for chairs, transportation, and have to alert all guests of the change. It all worked out and they were as happy as could be come the wedding day, despite the added stress they both had just days before!
Before I get ahead of myself, let’s talk about these two and their love story. David and Morghan were first set up on a blind date by Morghan’s mother’s friend Tracy and David’s co-worker Lynn. Lynn and Tracy are sisters and with their help, David reached out to Morghan. Morghan did not have any information about David besides his name. David had Morghan’s phone number and a picture of her provided by Lynn. Their first date took place at J. Alexanders and the pair hit it off and went on a few more dates. Morghan and David are now going on 7 years of being together!
On Dec 22, 2019 Morghan and David were getting ready for the Cleveland Browns Game. (Up until this point, Morghan never owned a Browns Jersey). Morghan was walking out to the car when David said ” Wait, you forgot something!” Morghan turned around and David was holding up a Jersey with her favorite number on it: 13. David turned the Jersey around and on the back said Mrs. Ender! David then got down on one knee and asked Morghan to marry him!
The wedding day was beautiful, calm, and relaxed. The girls got ready at the Wolcott House, their new ceremony spot, while the guys got ready at Morghan and Dave’s home minutes down the road. Everyone was happy and smiling, despite the hurdles they faced (on top of COVID hurdles!). When the guys headed over for the ceremony, they were driven via a pink stretch limo (1 of 2 vehicles the limo company had available) and minutes before that, Morghan had a crazy bloody nose that prevented her from getting into her dress until the absolute last minute. But once Morghan got in her dress, these two got married. All the craziness and the stress just melted away as they said their vows, exchanged rings, and shared a beautiful first kiss. Then, it was time to celebrate! After a rollercoaster of events, the day ended in the big celebration they dreamed of and I couldn’t be happier to have been a part of it! Congrats, you two lovebirds!
