Madison and Caleb’s engagement session at the Wood County Fair was everything an Ohio summer evening should be — golden light, laughter, and a touch of carnival magic.
We explored the fairgrounds during golden hour, capturing that perfect mix of nostalgia and joy that makes fair sessions so timeless. Between the rides, the glow of the Ferris wheel, and the smell of popcorn in the air, it felt like the perfect way to tell their story.
A Playful, Romantic Evening at the Fair
The session started as the sun dipped lower, casting that dreamy golden light across the fairgrounds. Madison and Caleb shared a milkshake at a concession stand, played a few games, and showed off their competitive side with skee-ball.
As the evening turned to night, we headed to the Ferris wheel for some long-exposure photos that perfectly captured the lights and energy of the fair. Those nighttime shots ended up being some of my favorites — romantic, cinematic, and full of life.
