I’ve got an awesome love story to share with you that started in the hallowed halls of med school and led to a beautiful wedding day. Meet Damian and Meghan, two former med students who met at the University of Toledo.
So, picture this: they’re both grinding through med school, drowning in textbooks and coffee, and probably surviving on minimal sleep. But amidst the chaos, something incredible happened. They not only graduated from med school but also snagged residencies at UTMC. Talk about a match made in medical heaven!
Fast forward to a sunny Saturday in August when Damian had something major up his sleeve. He planned a surprise proposal at the gorgeous Gervasi Vineyard. They had just finished a winery tour (yes, wine!), and they were taking a leisurely walk around the lake. Damian picked the perfect moment, dropped to one knee, and popped the question right there on a charming bridge overlooking the lake, vineyards, and, unbeknownst to him, a whole crowd of curious onlookers. There was a wedding happening across the lake, a bachelorette party nearby, and hundreds of people at the restaurant. It’s safe to say they got a little extra audience for their special moment!
Fast forward again to their wedding day. It gave all the romantic and elegant feels, with plum and gray as the star colors. Their journey through med school and matching residencies brought them to Saturday, surrounded by friends and family who’ve seen their love story unfold. We even took a detour to downtown Perrysburg, which provided some seriously Instagram-worthy backdrops. But my favorite part? Those sunset photos that closed out the day. They’re the perfect symbol of the amazing future that lies ahead for this incredible couple.
Damian and Meghan’s love story is a reminder that love can bloom even in the busiest, most stressful times of our lives. From med school to becoming doctors to this beautiful wedding, their journey is filled with love, laughter, and the promise of a lifetime together.
