It was only Saturday, but it still feels so fresh in my mind! Colleen and Josh’s wedding was so fun and featured karaoke and a glow stick exit to end the night. It was epic!
Their stunning winter wedding in the ballroom featured lots of winter plants and accents such as pine cones, twigs, vines. Colleen described the colors as “very February”, which were a wine, rose gold, and ivory/champagne color scheme. The chapel was the absolute prettiest I have ever seen it and Hafner Florist did an AMAZING job! The overall style and theme of the day was woodsy and wintery and I think it looked breathtaking inside the Grand Rapids, Ohio wedding venue. I just loved the bridesmaids’ floral crowns.
Colleen and Josh met in a college class at BGSU (Falcon Flames!). Together, they worked on a project together. The rest was history. When I asked Colleen how she knew he was the one, she said, “We just seemed like the same person. Everything felt easy around him. Both of us were happy to just be next to each other.” Love that!
Josh proposed to Colleen on her birthday, which I thought was adorable. She said, “We were alone in the living room just relaxing when he started to talk about our relationship up to this point. He told me that this choice was the only one he was absolutely 100% sure of. And then he asked!”
I cannot wait for you to see these photos from the day. Between the first look, sweet ceremony, fun reception featuring karaoke, and reception with those glow sticks, it was a blast!
