Rebecca and Mark had such a perfect day a few weeks ago for their Toledo winter wedding photos. There wasn’t snow, but there was this special spark in the air right before Christmas. Their wedding was so beautiful and Holiday-y (NEW WORD, GUYS) and so magical!
The couple had a winter theme with holiday wreaths with navy and rose gold ornaments. The girls wore wraps and gorgeous dresses and the guys looked great in their navy suits. There was lots of ivory, blush, and navy throughout the day with those winter and holiday touches.
We traveled to the Toledo Museum of Art, Glass Pavilion, and Promenade Park in between their ceremony at St. Patrick and their reception at The French Quarter in Perrysburg. Their reception was the very last one at The Holiday Inn French Quarter, so it was bittersweet!
Rebecca and Mark are high school sweethearts, which is so rare these days! The couple met in English class their junior year of high school at Central Catholic High School. The two were put in a group to discuss/debate different school policies and were the only two who were passionate about the topics. They started talking to each other at the football game that night and more throughout the week and the rest is history!
For the proposal, the couple went to the Toledo Zoo for the Lights Before Christmas. They had gone to the Lights for date nights while they were in high school and college. Mark took Rebecca to the big tree at the south end of the park and asked Rebecca’s sister to take a picture in front of the iconic tree. As they were standing there ready for the picture, he proposed! Rebecca’s back was turned towards Mark so she had no idea their families (her parents, oldest sister and her family, Mark’s dad and stepmom) were hiding until he proposed.
Congrats, you two lovebirds! I wish you the very best!
